I just thought this might be something interesting to share for those who wonder about the conflict between people leaving and those who are staying and some of the things said to those who leave. Things could be a lot worse, I know, but can you see the subtle manipulation in the words? This is just a glimpse of some of the things that those who leave need to work through and figure out what the Bible really means...the letter is part of what my mom wrote to me in the letter she sent with my birthday card. Next is part of my question I emailed to my pastor and last is what he emailed in return...I must say it was a bit startling but in a good way as this something I have still been trying to sort through...this is rather a personal example but I decided to be brave and share...
