Healing Hands

There's a memory that keeps coming to mind the last several days...

It was a moment when I was studying the Bible years ago and I was reading the passage where Jesus told his followers that they will do the same things he does (John 14:12) and not just that, but greater things than he does. I remember pondering this and wondering if Jesus healed mostly with his hands than why in today's world is there so little healing happening in the christian religion. Instead what I saw at the time was just a whole lot of arguing, abuse, and splits because people disagreed and couldn't live peaceably with their differing beliefs. It really bothered me. Why wasn't the so-called church doing greater things than Jesus did? It was one of those moments that just didn't line up with what was supposed to be truth and I wanted the truth.

Well, I just realized this morning that I'm on the verge of receiving this gift of healing with energy flowing through my hands. It is passed from master to student energetically and my attunement ceremony is happening in less than an hour. This trajectory I find myself on is surpassing my wildest dreams. So different than just 2 months ago when I could see nothing but homelessness coming my way. Now I not only will have a skill that can bring healing to others but ideas for making an income that I'm working on and want to launch within the next few weeks...I feel like I need to pinch myself to make sure I'm not just dreaming...

(I completed Level 1 reiki two days ago and after the attunement ceremony I want to start practicing and studying for my level 2 certification which means that I will be able to work on others.✨💎👐)

On a side note, there's also a lot of grief and sadness for now realizing that I am leaving behind everything that was once familiar to me and now I'm charting my own path and journey. It feels very lonely as well but one day I will have my own tribe...
